Industrial Ceramic Tile, Tile Adhesives, Wear Compound Installation of ceramic is best done in an environment where moisture content and metal preparation are controlled, but we do recommend a list of quick repair materials. These materials are convenient for maintenance repair until such time that a permanent fabrication can be installed. The CTI High Load Wear Compound is a ceramic-filled, two-part epoxy that will conform to and repair any dry surface. Pumps, elbows, pipes, and holes in chutes are good applications for the CTI High Load compound. The mix ratio is 2 to 1. One lb. of "A" plus 0.5 lb of "B" will mix a 1.5 lb. batch that will harden at 70 degrees in 90 minutes, allowing you to operate until a permanent fabrication can be installed. CTI High Load Wear Compound comes in 30 lb. kits. We also have other items available for your repair needs, including ceramic tile and tile adhesives.
