Engineered Ceramic Lining Installation
Abrasion wear and replacement cost is an ongoing operational reality that is expensive
and time consuming. CTI’s team of industry specialists will recommend and provide a cost
effective lining solution to reduce cost and down time. Utilizing our experience and design
knowledge on how to dissipate impact and convey abrasive materials, our choice in most cases
will be ½" to 4" ceramic tile. In most cases the application of ceramic lining will result in
a 10 to 1 return on investment. This represents a 1000% increase in material handling efficiency
over conventional lining. CTI has been very progressive in promoting the ceramic lining specifications
that now have become the industry standard to lower cost of material handling from pipe fittings to
processing equipment. One of the most important benefits, most often overlooked on a ceramic installation,
is the elimination of noise pollution. In most cases a ceramic lined chute will dispel 98% of the noise
associated with material flow.
